Kirsty is known for having a wide ranging repertoire from Mozart to Verdi, and a voice that has been described as " sumptuous" and "spine-tingling". 

 

Recent engagements have included a host of exciting role debuts for Kirsty, including Donna Anna in Mozart's Don Giovanni at The Minack Theatre and the title role in Puccini's Tosca for Opera Loki across France and The UK. Kirsty made her role debut for Glyndebourne Opera in the role of Cockerel in Melly Still's extraordinary production of The Cunning Little Vixen under the baton of Vladimir Jurowski. 

 

Kirsty began her formal studies at Birmingham Conservatoire where she gained her BMus(Hons), after this she studies at the Royal Academy of Music under renowned Mezzo Anne Howells. At the RAM Kirsty gained her MMus and DipRam, she was also awarded the Marjoree and Dorothy White Prize for "Outstanding Potential as a Soloist" after gaining the first ever awarded 100% mark for a final recital.

 

Kirsty continues to be passionate about music education and the accessibility of opera, and has worked for Glyndebourne and Garsington's education outreach schemes.

She is also a passionate recitalist, and has particular interests in Strauss and Rachmaninov.
